How much does a website cost?

The price of a website is not a single number – it depends on the size of the site, its functionality and the amount of content. Below are the starting points we work with in the Latvian market.

  • Corporate website – from 1,500 EUR. Service sections, project gallery, blog, several languages. Usually 2-4 weeks.
  • Online shop – from 4,000 EUR. Product catalogue, cart, payments, delivery and accounting integrations. Usually 4-8 weeks.

What the price of a website depends on

Two sites that look similar from the outside can differ in price several times over. The main factors that affect the cost of website development:

  • Number of pages and amount of content. A five-page site and a fifty-page site need different structure and navigation.
  • Design. A customised ready-made theme costs less than an individual design created from scratch for a specific brand.
  • Number of languages. Every additional language means translating content, setting up WPML and a separate set of SEO settings.
  • Functionality. Calculators, bookings, client portals and integrations with a CRM or accounting are estimated separately.
  • Content. If texts and photos have to be prepared from scratch, that is a separate scope of work.
  • Migration. Moving an existing site while keeping its addresses and rankings requires additional planning.

That is why the first step is always a conversation. Without it, any number would be a guess.

Website development process

We work in steps, so that at every stage it is clear what is happening and what comes next.

  • 1. Discovery. We discuss what the site is for, who your customers are and what they need to do on the page. The result is a specific scope and quote.
  • 2. Structure. We prepare a sitemap and the layout of the main pages. It is easier to change the logic at this stage than later in a finished design.
  • 3. Design. We create the visual solution for desktop and mobile and agree it before development starts.
  • 4. Development. We move the design to WordPress and set up templates, forms and the required integrations.
  • 5. Content and testing. We add texts and images and check speed, the mobile version, forms and analytics.
  • 6. Launch. We set the site up on hosting and configure SSL, backups and Google Search Console. After that we train your team to update the content.

We build the design around what a visitor has to do on the page – get in touch, find a service or place an order. That is why we start with structure and only then move to the visual part.

Every website is designed equally for mobile devices and desktop. We follow the WCAG accessibility requirements, which are becoming mandatory in the European Union for a growing range of companies – contrast, keyboard navigation, image alt texts and a correct heading structure.

If you already have a brand book, we work within it. If not, we offer a simple visual system that can later be extended without a complete redesign.

Website maintenance after launch

A website is not a one-off job. WordPress, plugins and PHP versions are updated regularly, and an outdated site becomes slow or vulnerable over time.

We offer website maintenance from 50 EUR a month: updates, backups, security monitoring, speed checks and technical support. We also maintain sites that were not built by us – we first carry out an audit and bring the technical condition in order.
