Development and Support of Elvim Company Websites

Elvim markets and distributes medicines and medical products in the Baltic states and the CIS.

According to the Register of Enterprises, ELVIM’s turnover in 2019 was more than 26 million euros.

Our cooperation with Elvim began in August 2016 with the task of taking over a WordPress site from another team and continuing its development.

The site turned out not to be quite what the client had expected to receive, so we decided to rebuild it on a high-quality theme we know well and to adapt all the necessary modules along the way.

As the site progressed, our colleagues at Elvim suggested making copies of the site, changing the language and colour scheme and launching the copies on other domains.

The result of this work was three online stores for the Femarelle line of women’s food supplements:

After the successful launch of Femarelle, Elvim’s management decided to move the sites of all its brands to WordPress with our help. At that time Elvim’s sites ran on different systems – Joomla, OpenCart, Wix… We decided to build each site from scratch on WordPress. Moving all the projects took about a year and, besides Femarelle, resulted in about 15 more sites. Here are some of them:

Our responsibilities included regular support, updates and adding information to these sites. Elvim’s managers sent us information for publications, we designed the pages and posts and handed the finished result back to our colleagues.

At the beginning of 2018 Elvim decided to launch a new online store, Medplaza, on WordPress and WooCommerce.

The first version of Medplaza worked until mid-2020, and having shown good potential in online sales, we decided to completely refresh the design and rebuilt the store entirely using the Blocksy theme, which was a discovery for us in 2020 and to this day remains one of our favourite tools.

One of the new projects for Elvim was a small business-card site for the SKYN. brand.

At the moment all of Elvim’s projects use our VPS hosting on a LiteSpeed server.
