Brief
- Develop the second version of amg.aero for Airside Maintenance Group — an EASA Part-145 and Part-147 certified aircraft maintenance organisation with a home base at Riga International Airport and a line station in Zurich, servicing the Airbus A220, A320 Family and Boeing 737 NG/MAX;
- Replace the first version of the website, which we built on WordPress and Elementor, with a faster, more secure and easier-to-maintain solution — without losing search rankings or existing links;
- Clearly present what airlines and lessors check first: EASA approvals and certificates, capabilities by aircraft type, services, stations and 24/7 AOG support;
- Make sure the website passes any GDPR, security and code quality audit;
- Let the company publish news from LinkedIn on its own, without involving a developer.
Solution
- Custom design. We created three design concepts and, after four rounds of client feedback, arrived at a light, open style built on the company’s own photos from its Riga hangar, with floating navigation and a world map of its stations.
- A structure that follows the client’s buyers. Nine pages: home, approvals, services, locations, 24/7 AOG, Part-147 training, about the company, contacts and privacy policy. Certificates can be viewed right on the site, and the capability table matches EASA approval LV.145.0028 exactly.
- Static architecture, no CMS. Pages are generated from a single template, so the header, footer and metadata are identical across the site — and there is no database and no plugins to update or to be hacked.
- Speed. Images in AVIF and WebP in several sizes, self-hosted fonts, minimal JavaScript, long-term caching and the Cloudflare CDN.
- Security. A strict Content Security Policy, HSTS and other security headers. For the contact form — server-side validation, protection against header injection, rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile against spam.
- GDPR by default. Until a visitor gives consent, the site sends no data to any third party: Google Analytics 4 loads only after consent, while Cloudflare Web Analytics works without cookies.
- LinkedIn news without a developer. In a protected admin area it is enough to paste the link to a LinkedIn post: the system fetches the text, date and image, tidies up the text and, once approved, publishes the news on the home page and in the “About Us” section.
- Accessibility and SEO. Semantic HTML, full keyboard navigation, Schema.org structured data, a sitemap, short URLs without .html and 301 redirects from the old site’s addresses.
- Safe migration. We fully archived the old WordPress site (files and database), launched the new version without downtime, and the company’s training platform and other resources kept running without interruption.
Result – Airside Maintenance Group now has a fast, secure and easy-to-maintain corporate website that clearly presents its EASA approvals, capabilities and services to airlines and lessors. Google Lighthouse scores 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO on both mobile and desktop. There are no plugins to update, no third-party scripts load without the visitor’s consent, and the company publishes news itself in seconds.
