- Design and develop a modern multilingual e-commerce website for OMC, a supplier of Spanish food products and delicatessen in the Baltic market;
- Create a clean and professional online store that reflects the company’s product quality, reliability, and long-standing cooperation with Spanish producers;
- Clearly present product categories, special offers, and information for both retail and HoReCa customers through intuitive navigation and structured catalog pages;
- Implement multilingual support for Latvian, English, and Russian-speaking audiences;
- Ensure automated product synchronization, stable import processes, and seamless website performance across all devices.
Solution
- The website was developed on WordPress using Elementor, creating a flexible and easy-to-manage e-commerce platform with multilingual support and scalable catalog structure.
- Implemented WPML and WP All Import integrations for automated product synchronization, multilingual catalog management, and regular XML-based product imports.
- Configured responsive layouts, product filtering, multilingual navigation, and optimized user experience for both retail and business customers.
- A custom stabilization solution was developed for WP All Import to resolve recurring synchronization issues affecting multilingual products, translation links, and product image consistency across language versions.
- Claude Code was used for AI-assisted debugging, investigation of import-related issues, and optimization of the synchronization workflow.
- Testing, technical optimization, bug fixing, and launch preparation were completed prior to deployment.
