Brief
- Develop an online platform for subscribing to Bonus Media print magazines with delivery across Latvia;
- Clearly present the magazines, subscription periods, prices and bundle offers;
- Allow readers to subscribe for themselves or as a gift, choosing the subscription period and start month;
- Create a clear ordering process with delivery address entry and a choice of payment methods;
- – Develop a separate admin panel for managing orders, magazines and subscription offers.
Solution
- The platform was built as a custom solution using React and Node.js. A responsive design supports use on desktop and mobile devices.
- A catalogue was created with separate subscription pages for JAUNS un Privāts, Īstie Stāsti and Īstās Leģendas, as well as a magazine bundle.
- The ordering process was divided into three steps: subscription selection, delivery address and confirmation. Gift subscriptions include fields for the recipient’s details.
- Montonio was integrated for payments by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and online banking. Payment by invoice is also available.
- An admin panel was developed to manage orders, payment statuses, prices and promotions. It also allows staff to update magazine covers and publication schedules.
- – Order exports in XLSX format were implemented for Latvijas Pasts, along with financial reports for allocating revenue and reconciling payments.
Result – a magazine subscription platform eprese.lv where readers can choose a publication, subscribe for themselves or as a gift, and select a payment method. The publisher has a separate admin panel for processing orders and managing subscription offers.
