The top bar, or admin bar, contains quick links to various user and administrator tasks. It also displays basic information, for example about comments, and can include additional items from installed plugins. This top bar can also be seen on the site itself, but only logged-in users with the appropriate permissions see it.

The sidebar contains buttons that give access to the various WordPress administration screens, many of which have their own submenus, called sub-panels.

From the Administration Screens, users can manage almost every aspect of WordPress. The interface looks the same for ordinary users and for administrators, but the available features depend on the role. Administrators have access to all settings, while users with lower roles can only use the features that match their access level — for example, work with their own posts or edit their profile.

Administrators can also modify theme files or add custom code through the Theme File Editor screen; however, in modern versions of WordPress its use is not recommended, because editing files directly can lead to errors and lost changes. For visual changes to the design, the built-in Additional CSS tool in the Customizer is available if the theme enables it; it lets you safely add your own CSS without changing theme files.

Our specialization is WordPress website development and maintenance.
