Most slow WordPress sites are slow because of heavy themes, too many plugins and weak hosting, not because of WordPress itself.<\/p>\n<p>For SEO, WordPress has mature plugins for titles, sitemaps, redirects and structured data from day one. In Next.js all of this is implemented in code, which is precise and flexible but must be built and tested for every project.<\/p>\n<h2>Editing and maintenance: what is ready-made and what is built<\/h2>\n<p>The biggest practical difference is not the front end. It is everything around it. A WordPress install already includes an admin panel, user roles, media library, scheduling, redirects and a way to preview a draft.
